Supporting Your Library

One way to support the library is through a Friends of the Library group. Beckley Friends of the Library and FOSSL, Friends of the Shady Spring Library, are the two such organizations serving Raleigh County libraries. People wishing to join pay yearly dues and help with fundraisers to raise money for their libraries.

If you do not wish to join a Friends group, you can still help them raise money for us! Both groups hold bi-annual book sales at their respective headquarters. For more information on these groups (and their book sales!), please see:

Our libraries also take donations! Make out a check to: Raleigh County Library and drop it off at one of our branches, or send it in the mail to: 221 N. Kanawha St. Beckley, WV 25801. We can also accept cash donations at any of our branches. Unfortunately we can't take donations from debit cards at the moment, but we're looking into it!

Remember: donations are tax deductible, make you feel good about yourself, and really help out the library. Help us continue to improve our programs and events, and keep adding new books and technology to the library!
