Programs
eBook Training
Excited about eBooks from the library, but having a little trouble getting set up? Stop by on Saturday, March 10th starting at 10am. Appointments are one-on-one and will be on a first-come first-served basis. Bring your e-reader or laptop and someone will walk you through the steps for accessing and downloading our library of eBooks.
Book Sale
Buy a book at the library! The Sophia Branch will have a selection of books available for purchase during all normal operating hours. Stop at the desk for more information.
Youth Events
Story Hour
Story Hour is a weekly reading program for 3-8 year olds that takes place Wednesdays at 10 a.m. and lasts one hour. It has a session in the Spring, takes a break for the Summer Reading Program, then resumes for a Fall session. Specific dates can be found on the Sophia library's calendar. Pre-registration is required, so make sure to stop at the Children's desk to sign up.
Summer Reading Program
The Summer Reading Program is a weekly reading program throughout the summer for children ages 3-12 that takes place Fridays at 1p.m. Specific dates can be found on the Sophia library's calendar.Pre-registration is required, so make sure to stop at the circulation desk to sign up.
